VIE-DOS Programme Library

Download VIE-DOS programmes here. When you download them, please drag them into whatever folder your version of VIE-DOS is running alongside the VIE-DOS system files. You can only use .vpl (VIE-DOS Programme Library) files on versions of VIE-DOS that have the programme launcher. You can also send off your own programmes for review which can be displayed on this page for other users to use. .vpl Files are supported by every version of VIE-DOS that has the .vpl Programme Launcher.

FOR SECURITY REASONS DO NOT INSTALL ANY .vpl FILES FROM ANYWHERE APART FROM THIS OFFICIAL LAUNCHER PAGE OR THE VIE-DOS 7 LIBRARY.

FOR ANY VERSIONS BETWEEN 1.2 AND 7.25007, DO NOT INSTALL THE .vpl FILE INTO THE sysfil FOLDER - SIMPLY PASTE IT WHERE THE EXECUTABLE FILE IS.

FOR 7.25016 OR NEWER, PLEASE USE THE INTEGRATED VIE-DOS 7 LIBRARY INSTEAD.

THE EXTERNAL VPL LIBRARY HAS BEEN RETIRED ON THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY 2025. APPLICATIONS LISTED BELOW WILL NOT RECEIVE UPDATES, AND NEW APPLICATIONS CAN NO LONGER BE UPLOADED ONTO THIS LIBRARY. PLEASE USE THE VIE-DOS 7 LIBRARY FROM NOW ON FOR NEW APPLICATIONS AND UPDATES.  VPL DEVELOPERS MUST INSTALL "VPL Studio" FROM THE VIE-DOS 7 LIBRARY TO CONTINUE DEVELOPING APPS FOR VIE-DOS, AS THE FORMS ARE NO LONGER ACCESSIBLE FROM THIS WEBSITE AS PART OF THE NEW VIE-DOS INTEGRATED EXPERIENCE.
